Article Processing Charges

Open access articles published in Elaris Computing Nexus are freely accessible online immediately upon publication. The standard article processing charge (APC) is USD 800, excluding applicable taxes, payable by the author, their institution, or their research funder.

However, the APC is fully waived for all manuscripts submitted on or before 31 December 2026, regardless of their subsequent acceptance or publication date. Elaris Publications will cover the publication costs of these manuscripts. No submission fee is charged. All manuscripts remain subject to the journal’s standard peer-review and acceptance procedures.

APC waivers and discounts

Elaris Publications provides waivers and discounts on article processing charges (APCs) for papers whose corresponding authors are located in low-income countries, as classified by the World Bank as of July 2021. Authors based in countries with lower-middle-income economies and a gross domestic product (GDP) below 200 billion US dollars as of 2020 are eligible for a 50% discount (reference - World Bank 1st July 2021).). Please apply for your waiver or discount when submitting your paper.
